     Childhood memories of being engrossed in reading a good book while curled up and hidden under the stairs that went up to our roof top terrace…, impatiently turning those pages of my copy of “The famous five…”so that the disruption does not kill my level of suspense… and the thrill of reading a whole book cover to cover in one afternoon…. How can any book lover not want their child to experience these little joys of reading?

Kitabs Shack came about solely out of this passion for reading which seems to be disappearing from our digital lifestyles today.

we bring to you a collection of books especially picked for your child to be able to discover and enjoy the pleasures of reading.

Please take the time to sit with them whilst they browse through our ever growing collection and hope to find something that intrigues their attention. Help them find what interests them and invest in a book. Encourage them to develop a long term reading habit by listening to “their story” of the book. With a little bit of time and patience you will manage to instill a reading habit in them and a lifelong love for books.
